WE WERE NOT CREATED TO WALK LOST OR WITHOUT A DESTINATION; WE WERE CREATED TO WALK WITH GOD, IN GOD, AND LED BY GOD.
WHEN SIN ENTERED THE WORLD THROUGH THE MAN'S DISOBEDIENCE, WE LOST GLORY, PURPOSE, AND DIRECTION.
THE FEET THAT WALKED IN GLORY AND WITH GLORY, WERE NOW PIERCED SO THAT THEIR BLOOD WOULD BREAK THE NAIL OF THE CURSE.
BEFORE, YOUR FEET WERE LEADING YOU TOWARD HELL. NOW YOUR FEET CAN LEAD YOU INTO THE PRESENCE OF THE FATHER — BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM, BACK TO WHERE YOU WERE DESIGNED TO BE.
CHRIST BECAME A CURSE IN ORDER TO REDEEM US FROM THE DESTINY OF DEATH THAT FELL UPON US.
19 Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners. But because one other person obeyed God, many will be made righteous.
ROMANS 5:19 (NLT)
8 But God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
ROMANS 5:8 (CSB)
19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Choose life so that you and your descendants may live, 20 love the Lord your God, obey him, and remain faithful to him. For he is your life, and he will prolong your days as you live in the land the Lord swore to give to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob."
DEUTERONOMY 30:19-20 (CSB)
JESUS CHRIST WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF YET ANOTHER CONTROVERSY EVEN AS HE WAS DYING. TWO CRIMINALS WERE CRUCIFIED WITH HIM — ONE ON HIS RIGHT AND ONE ON HIS LEFT.
43And he said to him, "Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise."
LUKE 23:43 (CSB)
IF WE WANT TO BE LIKE CHRIST, WE MUST ACT LIKE CHRIST.
PASTOR, HOW CAN CHRIST REDEEM MY PATH OR MY FEET? HOW CAN I LET THE BLOOD OF CHRIST CLEANSE MY FEET... MY WALK? THE BIBLE ANSWERS THIS QUESTION FOR US.
105 Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path. 106 I've promised it once, and I'll promise it again: I will obey your righteous regulations. 107 I have suffered much, O Lord; restore my life again as you promised. 108 Lord, accept my offering of praise, and teach me your regulations. 109 My life constantly hangs in the balance, but I will not stop obeying your instructions. 110 The wicked have set their traps for me, but I will not turn from your commandments. 111 Your laws are my treasure; they are my heart's delight 112 I am determined to keep your decrees to the very end.
PSALM 119:105-112 (NLT)
