ON OUR WAY TO PENTECOST
After the resurrection, Jesus made a promise that would change history:
“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.”
Fifty days after Passover, during the ancient feast of Shavuot, that promise was fulfilled.
The Holy Spirit descended, the Church was born, and a group of ordinary disciples was
transformed into a movement that would change the world. On the Road to Pentecost is a
series that will help us rediscover the meaning of that moment and what it means for us
today. Throughout this series we will explore:
-
The biblical origins of Pentecost
-
How the early church prepared to receive the Holy Spirit
-
The transforming power of the Spirit in the life of a believer
-
The evidence of a Spirit-filled life
-
The call to live in revival and on mission
Pentecost was not just an event in the past. It is an invitation for the Church today to live again with the power, passion, and mission that marked the first believers.
This series is a call to prepare our hearts, seek God in prayer, and cry out for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
Because when the Holy Spirit fills His people, everything changes. We are on the road to Pentecost.
